“see a full circle, a sphere. Round and round, we feel different things, see different things. truth lies everywhere, even in the lies we hear. different lenses, tinted blue red green yellow ultraviolet colorless, peeping into the same world you've painted yours. and for them, theirs. But what binds us is that we feel. the dread of Mondays, the pain of our childhood, the death of a loved one, the anxiety of what is to come. feeling like you are so low, the dirt that embraces deteriorated bones look down at you and say hello. The rock bottoms, and then another one even worse than last year. The luck you see in others, the envy of creation that isn’t yours. But even so... The light in each other - it's there. we are blinded and our site turns dim from everything we've been through, but the world asks more of us. and in those moments you really look and see, you start to wonder. why are we also far apart?”
Using Janroe’s signature style of combining poetry and dried flowers, she created The World– a delicate 11.4 x 8.8-inch piece made of dried flowers and typewritten poetry on paper.
