La Montaña Sagrada, graphite on 9 x 13 inches archival paper is pair to 1111’s piece "Lick Thy Wound", a recollection of a past experience, and reconnecting with oneself. Using her signature method of harvesting shadows from nature and shading intuitively, 1111 created an abstract piece with light and shadows of monochromatic grey on layers of tatter-edged paper.
