Kahon 2, a 24 x 26-inch acrylic on canvas piece by LJ Navera is part of Cognitive Dissonance as well as LJ’s KAHON series. Like a helpless child, emotions and stagnant negative energies are usually suppressed and put in a box. Some people brush it off until it gets too uncomfortable to ignore. Cognitive dissonances are the same.

"This pandemic made me so limited only to what I got used to doing, when In fact before, I’ve been resilient and able to cope with life outside the box. A realization came about that I am in a reality, I am in control of my thoughts and that I can always choose to adapt and evolve.”
