Ireland Jill (b. 1997) is a quirky visual artist whose fascination with cartoons and visual metaphors spurred her creative process. Her collection of work involves children painted doll-like, their staring eyes seem to look right through you with a gleam of curiosity and mischief. Freshly earning her BFA in Painting at the University of Santo Tomas, Ireland Jill’s recent experience from art school enabled her to play around and experiment with different media, keeping her work fresh while remaining consistent with her visual style. She was a finalist for both the Shell National Students Art Competition and the Robinsons Land Corporation Painting Competition.
