Erwin Capati (b. 1993) is a visual artist whose body of work consists of figurative paintings injected with surreal imagery and often accented using fine line details, bright colors, and gold leaf—features used to deepen the emotions portrayed. Influenced by Gustav Klimt, Erwin's works comprise realistic images, textures, and patterns layered together or formed into a collage to create a complex and intriguing piece. His paintings often revolve around engaging his audience in critical discussions on social issues. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Bulacan State University.
